How compatible is this Forgiveness Therapy Model with a Christian worldview?
It is very compatible because Jesus Himself in the Bible commands us to forgive.
The Bible says in the Lord’s prayer, “Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors” (Legacy Standard Bible, 2021, Matthew 6:11, 12).
Jesus goes on to say: “For if you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions (Legacy Standard Bible, 2021, Matthew 6:14).
There are not any recommended modifications additions or deletions to make this Forgiveness Therapy Model more compatible with the Christian worldview.
